Projects - Modal choice decision making

Modal choice decision making
A lot of research has been undertaken to explain how people make travel decisions. For example, research for the Highways Agency focused on the role of transport links – both road and rail in determining mode choice and the possible switch from road to rail which would follow junction closures at peak times. Another project for considered travel planning processes and the results were fed into the design of the Transport Direct’s portal.
