Kris Beuret OBE FCILT FIHT TPP

Kris was previously an academic and then directed her own company Social Research Associates which she sold to the Temple Group a few years ago and is now an independent consultant, www.kris@krisbeuret.com.

Kris is a sociologist specialising in engagement, behavioural change and social value. A key area of expertise is social aspects of transport and travel including the equality impacts of transport policy in which capacity she has advised the House of Commons Transport Committee, Government and DfT including serving on the Disabled Persons Transport Advisory Committee. Recent research led by Kris includes a major study of transport-related social exclusion for TfN and an ongoing evaluation of concessionary fares for women in Refuges. Amongst her pro bono work is acting as a Commissioner for the Independent Transport Commission and as Chair of the Mobility and Inclusion Forum for ITSUK.
